Tebowing at Epcot
First there was planking, and then owling, where people around the world posed in the same position, but at different places. Now, there is Tebowing, in honor of Denver Broncos' quarterback Tim Tebow and his prayer stance after big plays. What is Tebowing? (vb) to get down on a knee and start praying, even if everyone else around you is doing something completely different. A site has even been built around it with people Tebowing across the country, including a soldier in Afghanistan and a newborn baby.
So, while visiting Florida for Thanksgiving, Raphael and I took the opportunity to Tebow at Epcot in front of the famous globe. As we knelt down and took our mimicking stance, a passerby called out, "hey, they are Tebowing!" The timing couldn't have been more perfect, lol. Take a look:

Farewell Regis
I didn't start watching it on my own until Kelly became the co-host though and the last few years I'd DVR it and watch the opening chat at night and the interviews depending on the guest. Countless times I'd drag Raphael in to rewind a funny clip that I'd want him to watch of Regis or Kelly. I'm soo going to miss them. I've been depressed today knowing it's the final show and have literally teared up, because yes, I'm going to miss it, but also the show was like having a connection to my Nanny still. Sad.
Take a look at this clip montage:

Party with Cat Loving Hunks at The Abbey
Now I'm really missing Los Angeles. No, not because of the cold weather that's setting in here, but because I'm missing out on this really fun event below that the Found Animals foundation is having in West Hollywood next Saturday, Nov. 19. First, ask yourself this: what is hotter than guys with 6 packs? Hot men with cats and kittens! lol
The 6 Packs/9 Lives calendar is a unique calendar created to promote cat adoption by busting the inaccurate stereotype of the “cat lady.” In reality, cats make wonderful pets for everyone – these 14 calendar hunks couldn’t imagine their lives without feline companionship and encourage everyone to adopt a cat from their local animal shelter or rescue group. The photos are hysterical too.
The calendar launch party held at The Abbey is open to the public, so if you're an L.A. reader, please go for me so I can live vicariously! Plus, it's all for a good cause. Details on the event are below. Have fun!

New job with the WWE
I just started a new job this week with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Yes, I've given up on PR and am becoming a WWE Diva. I wish, but no, I'll actually be working at their headquarters doing Corporate Communications PR. They have offices in Manhattan, but their main building is in Stamford, CT just a few miles down the road from my apartment! Thus, a really sweet commute.
So far, whenever I tell people about my new position, they usually say something like you're going from Disney to WWE, that's an odd switch? But not really though. Both are large entertainment brands that do films, TV shows, live events, merchandise, publishing and create some big stars. They're just missing a theme park ;)
So, that's my big news. I'll keep you posted on the journey as I'm sure it will be interesting!
Below is a pic of my new offices. You can't miss the flag when driving on the I-95. In fact, I remember always passing it when I was in high school. Who knew one day I'd be working here?

Giveaway: Havaianas Closed Toe Shoes
Havaianas, the maker of the popular rubber flip-flops, is launching new closed-toe styles. Unlike other kicks, comfort and style mesh together to form this trendy sneaker where the soles are lined with their rubber flip-flops. Thus, you get the feeling of walking on a flip-flop with the original Havaianas sole.
They come in a slipper like look as well as low, mid and eco styles. I especially like the mini flip flop key chain that hangs from them.
How to enter: In celebration of the new collection, they are allowing me to do a special reader giveaway too :) Even better, the lucky winner can pick any style they like from the new line. To enter, browse the collection and leave a comment here saying what style or colors you like best by Friday, Nov. 11. Please don't forget to leave your email address in the body of your comment or link back to a blogger profile or website that actually has your email address on it. Good luck!
UPDATE: Congratulations to Hotsnotty2!
