Over the summer, I got the chance to interview the editor-in-chief of Reader's Digest and best-selling author, Liz Vaccariello, regarding her new book The Digest Diet ($8.99).
The Digest Diet condenses decades of research and science to reveal the simple truth about fast and lasting weight loss. Liz reveals eye-opening and myth-busting ways to shed fat and slim down—and puts it all into one easy-to-use plan.
“Our weight loss researchers found the latest studies about foods that release fat from your body, so this is a 21 day diet plan incorporating fat releasers into every meal of the day. Our fat releasers list is 12 things long and it ranges from Vitamin C, Calcium, Protein, Fiber and some of the things that you’d expect all the way to honey, vinegar, coconut oil and more,” said Liz Vaccariello.
What I liked most is that the plan tells you how to burn up to 700 calories a day —without exercise by identifying "fat releasers" and easy-to-do lifestyle changes to help curb cravings safely and for the long-term.
These diet recommendations aren't just for women, but recipes for the whole family. According to Liz, kids particularly like the slimming shake recipes with hidden healthy ingredients.
Best of all, it's really easy to read with lots of boxes highlighting the key points, recipes, photos, etc.

Good luck!
Interesting. This'd be an interesting thing to win as I'm always struggling to find the right combination of foods that enables the 'best burn' for my body and have yet to stumble upon it! :)
ReplyDeleteI want to win because I need to lose some weight and this sounds promising.

It's always interesting to see new ideas about weight loss that are just taking the "easy way" (like pills or shakes, etc) with weight loss. I'm much more interested in learning good nutrition and tips than taking the easy way.
