Another stop on our Alaskan cruise was to Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia. I hadn't been before and found it very charming even though we were only there just for a few hours. It isn't as modern as Toronto, but more like Montreal with it's foreign appeal. The city is named after Queen Victoria i.e.
Sixty Glorious Years and as a result there are monuments for her in front of the parliament buildings:
