Having grown up watching her films, I can't think of a time when I didn't know who Bette was. I also saw her in concert when I was 11 and the power of her voice gave me goose bumps and brought tears to my eyes, especially when she sang From A Distance. From there on out I was a Bette fan. In high school I had her keychain on my key ring while my friends were all about NSYNC. Yeah, I never claimed to have been the coolest kid.
Bette is now 69-years-old and still puts on a great show and I really enjoy her wise cracks throughout. Being in the front row was definitely unreal and her voice still had the power to give me chills and make me cry. I was also delighted to see her come out in full Hocus Pocus costume and sing "I put a spell on you," watch bootlegged clip here.
