Wedding-at-a-glance

Here's a picture breakdown of the how and wheres of last Saturday's wedding in El Paso, Texas. First, some of you might be wondering, why El Paso when I'm from New York? Easy, Raphael is from EP and he has a bigger family than I do, so it made sense, plus it created a destination wedding of sorts for my friends and we tried to make it as unique for them as possible.

The Trolley:

We ushered all out of town guests to and from the church via two old fashion trolleys. Unfortunately, one broke down on the way back from the wedding and the other trolley had to go and pick the guests up. Yikes, but a small hiccup in the wedding overall and our friends made the most out of it and took some fun photos of themselves hanging out the windows and being arrested outside of it.

The Ceremony:

Was held at the beautiful and rustic, Ysleta Mission (circ. 1680!)

The Reception:

Since guests were staying at The Camino Real hotel in downtown El Paso, it made sense to also hold the reception in their banquet hall, plus their famous Dome Bar was voted by GQ Magazine as one of the top 10 bars in the world!

A lot more photos to come this week once I'm back from Maui!
