#DisneyKids Preschool Playdate & Mom Mingle

Being new to Florida, I haven't made too many mom friends yet. To be honest though, even before we moved, I didn't have many friends with children. To make more of an effort though, I joined a local moms group on MeetUp and have been meeting new acquaintances with kids around the same age.

So, when I was selected to host a Disney Kids Preschool Playdate and was sent plates, favors and decorations, I gladly took the opportunity to host several families over for some fun. It was the perfect excuse to get to know one another better and the boys LOVED having so many friends over.

Although rain clouds were looming, we lucked out and were able to hold the party outside with music, our Little Tikes bounce house, slide, sea saw, ride-on cars, trampoline and sand box for the kids to play with and tire themselves out on before nap time.

Disney Kids Mickey Mouse Party Snacks

For snacks, we cut up watermelon, mini cupcakes, and the new gluten-free Frozen-themed Chicken Nuggets from Costco. Not gonna lie, I was planning on making the cupcakes myself, but when I saw that all the St. Patrick's Day cupcakes were still fresh, but marked down 50% off at Publix, I simply bought those instead. I bought a cute cardboard cupcake from Party City.

Raphael helped decorate too and used sidewalk chalk to sketch a large Mickey Mouse on our driveway. I was pretty impressed! It's hard to see in the photo, but it showed up really well in-person.

The boys were thrilled to find Disney Junior's The Lion Guard tattoos and posters were among the party favors in the kit that we received as that and PJ Masks are their favorite new shows to watch.

  1. Looks like you and the family had a fun day! Love the decorations. And the Florida Moms meet-up was a great idea to connect with other Moms!

Question: How did the gluten-free Frozen-themed Chicken Nuggets from Costco taste? I'm gluten-free now so trying to find quick foods my sons would enjoy as well.

    1. Hi Migdalia! We liked the new GF free Frozen nuggets. Although they tasted different (not breaded the same way) from the previous version, it still tasted good. We don't have gluten allergies, but would buy it again.
