B kids toy review

During Sweet Suite '13 in Chicago I was introduced to B kids® toys, a line of children's toys and products that are both educational and fun. I also like the neon colors and lack of commercial characters associated with their toys.

My boys and I had the opportunity to review the following B kids toys - Teething Pals (3m+), Teething Activity Book (6m+), ABC Touch Pad (6m+) and See N' Spin Alphabet Rack (12m+).

Although we don't give the boys our real tablet, they are still drawn to it like a moth to a flame, which is why we knew they would like the ABC Touch Pad. We debuted this baby while on our flight to Texas during the holidays. It kept them both entertained for a short while and they still play with this toy in their cribs. The ABC Touch Pad helps kids learn their ABC’s, 123’s, and more with this super interactive light and sound touch pad. Multiple game modes keeps infants entertained with a bunch of fun and exciting features.

Since the boys like spinning tiles at our playground, I knew the See N' Spin Alphabet Rack would be a hit too (see Instagram video). I also figured this wooden rack with colorful letters would be a good learning tool in the future when the boys got older and it came time to really teach them the alphabet. The wooden frame is cushioned with an innovative soft rubber edging and each letter block features a fun illustration and corresponding word. My sons like the sound it makes when spinning the tiles and for some reason they frequently pick the whole thing up and walk around the room with it. I think they just want to keep it from their brother Wooden toys are all the rage right now too so this would make for a unique gift too.
